I am moving in about a week, so this is final sale, no exceptions!
This doll came to me as a body only who was head swapped at the doll hospital, which his why she's missing her original head. I replaced her head with a chipped tooth head I bought from a collector.
The residue from her old wig cap appears to be the correct color/material and her tooth paint looks clean (but not too clean) enough to be legit. The head is super soft so I'm pretty sure it's an authentic head. Because I bought the head from a collector and can't fully verify its entire history, I CANNOT accept a return on this one. I won't be in the country to be able to process a return, so please keep this in mind. I've priced her very low for a signed 1986 Molly and her head is the main reason why. That way, you can still have paid a good price for her, even if you need to replace her head in the future.
Her eyes are from a 1987 Pleasant Company Molly (some slight silvering, see pics), and her wig is a Mattel era wig. Hair ribbons are replicas. Neck string is replaced.
So, she's a bit cobbled together but this is a great opportunity to have a signed 1986 Molly at a price much cheaper than all the others. She could look even more authentic with some more care, but I think she looks great as is. She may need a little cleaning.
