Signed Big Tooth American Girl Samantha Doll #1434

This doll is in near excellent, untouched condition. This is the "big tooth" version of Samantha.

This doll was stored (likely in climate control) for her entire life. Her original stringing and tights elastic are still really good, which indicates she was stored well. I've closely examined her and I don't think she's ever been undressed. Her neck string is still tucked tightly in her tights. I will take her clothes off to check only after a purchase has been made. If there is an unseen flaw that's a dealbreaker, you can cancel the order.

Her bangs are most likely original and uncut, based on other mint dolls I've seen from this era. Plus this doll was preserved as a collector's item. You might find that there are collectors that will argue that her bangs were cut because of their unevenness and overall length. I've tried to show the extent of their unevenness. If you plan to ask for others' opinions on this, please do so before purchasing. I will not do a return on her based on her bang pattern.

Her left eye has the typical 80's Samantha occasional sticking, so it often needs manual opening and closing (not always). The shape of her eye sockets can ever so slightly push her eyes down because her eyelashes are factory new. 

She has the original gold Made in West Germany "hand" sticker. It is on the cuff of her sleeve and I don't know if it was done at the factory or by her original owner, considering the doll is untouched otherwise.

Doll has her original factory set hair and bow, and is completely original with no touchups. She has her original stringing that's remarkably tight for her age, and she can stand on her own. This is just about as good as it gets for a signed doll, apart from the cover of her book being torn, light/normal shelf wear on the box (including oxidization on the heart sticker), and flyaways from being in storage.

This doll is almost 40 years old and will have some subtle signs of age. I'm happy to answer any questions or email additional pictures.
